		<description>Looking at it the other way though, I am thrilled that for those 25 days we get ashes coverage because the amount of people who watch it means that Sky will keep paying for the pro 40 and ODI&#039;s and occasional CC matches that i love but can&#039;t afford to travel to see. It was meant to open cricket up to a new generation of fans and it might have done that for some; but for me who has always been a fan and lives 200 miles from her team&#039;s ground; it has meant that i am once again able to see the players and games i support and i love that about it.

sure it&#039;s not publicised as much (same for the US Open tennis which starts soon) but statistics don&#039;t lie all the time and we are primarily a nation of football lovers and football subscriptions pay for Sky Sports to stay on the air</description>
